Sweetroots Hair Bar blossomed out of a void. Constantly traveling for work, as an attorney, Regional Director, and former NFL cheerleader, I noticed how easy it was for people with straight and fine hair to get their hair done timely with trust in the quality. I was always surrounded by big brand-names that catered toward certain women, but could never find national salons for women on-the-go with textured hair. Women like me.

So with a desire to support and cultivate community wellness, and a need for an efficient way to help all us busy, textured hair women combat our hair woes, I planted a seed now known as Sweetroots. A healthy hair bar tailored towards all textures with a service model that ensures you don’t spend all day waiting in a salon for service. Stocked with plant-based, nontoxic products, and socially conscious brands, we focus on using what we can find in nature without compromising excellent results or our health. But we don’t just stop there.

From hair to HAIRitage, we honor and nurture the roots we grew out of – the streets of downtown Atlanta. A visit to Sweetroots Hair Bar goes way beyond a blowout or protective style. Through our Deeply Rooted community initiative, every service supports our monthly donated day of service to local nonprofits advancing those in need in the community, because we believe beauty and nourishment belongs to all.
